The Young Americans Day Network
The Young Americans Day Network helps bring this national vision to life by connecting community leaders, schools, colleges, youth organizations, businesses, nonprofits, entertainment organizations, families, and other supporters who want to celebrate and invest in America’s youth.
Network participants are encouraged to develop local celebrations, educational programs, performances, recreational activities, workshops, contests, online programs, community service projects, and other experiences that recognize young people and give them opportunities to participate and be heard.
Through local partnerships and nationwide participation, the Young Americans Day Network seeks to make April 19 a day when America comes together for its youth.
It is a day to celebrate who young Americans are today—and to encourage who they can become tomorrow.
Young People. Strong Nation. Bright Future.
Young Americans Day™ — April 19
Inspired by the 1960 congressional proposal for Young Americans’ Day.
